After reading the reviews here I almost didn’t stay at Cherry Hill Park. I was pleasantly surprised. The place is a class RV Resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked with food and gifts and they have a separate RV store that could double as a mini Camping World. They even had the exact match tail light lens I busted backing into my site. They have a tour orientation everyday that gives you the ins and outs of touring including which ones to do and how to get there. Most tours leave right from the park and if you want to do DC on your own, the Metrobus picks you up in the park and drops you off at the metro (subway) station. They even sell you bus tokens and metro passes at the park. It’s absolutely painless. If you wish to stay behind there are 2 pools, a spa, sauna, game room, big screen TV room, a nice playground, and a café. They also have a large laundry and nightly movies at the outdoor theater. I found my site easy to back into and the width was very adequate. The roads are paved and the sites are gravel and grass. OK, the grass did need mowing but it was only ankle deep in some spots and I could hear the road noise from our site but it was a low road and not annoying at all (hence the 9 rating). I would absolutely recommend Cherry Hill Park. We stayed here 7 nights.
