This is the very first KOA. You would think it would be old and run down looking but it was quite the opposite. We saw signs on the Interstate that claimed this park was green. They were true. The lawns are lush and green. They also ran the sprinklers all day for the 2 nights we were there. The place look nice. The office staff are a bunch of young kids. They are friendly and informative.
The interior roads are paved and in good shape. The sites are gravel and grass. Our site was a bit tight but most are roomy enough. I had no problem leveling. The park is very clean. It is far enough from the Interstate and trains that it was quiet. The Yellowstone River runs right by the park but it is not visible without a short hike over the banks.
